It's Really Not That Bad...

I was walking down the street and this guy passed me. I couldn't help but take a picture because on top of the heavy load he is carrying, it's sticky humid here in Shanghai.

I have only one thing to say: The next time you're complaining about your job or think you're having a bad day, remember this guy. Enough said!

Trenia's Finale:
This finale is pretty random and clearly for our amusement, but just go with it. I want everyone (including Dean Rutherford) who reads this to comment and respond to this question: If you could have any power (as in superhero kind of power), what would it be and why? If you cannot comment on the blog, please send me an email and I will post your comment for you. Now on your mark, get set, GO!!!

Welcome to my world...expo-sure!!!

    Time travel.

I would fly. Hands down. No real reason other than it would be AWESOME.

I would be able to understand and speak every known human language.

Hahaha! I love Monteith's! I have to go with flight, like Becca said... or maybe, amidst all the cries of "Muzungu! Muzungu!" I'd opt for invisibility. Nah... flight it is!

Also, nobody better say "the ability to steal other super powers and make them my own." That would make you a super villian and would be thus be outside the rules of the game.

I'm going to copy off of David. Maybe it's just, because I've had a bad Spanish day. "Que? Como? No entiendo. Que dices?" My original thought was being able to Apparate like in Harry Potter.

    What's your's Trenia?

I'm thinking more high-concept....maybe "Psychology Boy", a hero with the ability & insights to alleviate psychological prisons that burden the minds of mankind. That, or the ability to find/create parking anywhere/time i need it...serious *that* would be amazacrazy. Either way, my costume would need to be orange....just sayin.

It would have to be an angel with supernatural wings!

Kari: "If I had a super hero power, it would be the ability to create things out of thin air. Like stacks of money."

Speaking of flight... and stacks of money... anybody know how much it costs to fly to outer space these days? Cuz that would be, like, my life's dream.

OHHH!!! I would definitely fly. Period. Always have wanted to be able to do that. Cory- I read one time that it costs $20 million to catch a seat to space, but you better hurry because there may not be many chances to go soon. Also, I am a superhero.

OH BUT ALSO! I would time travel with Watterson. Why can't I have more than one?

I apologize for failing to include my super power. Thanks for asking Hallie! If I could have any super power, I would have the ability to transmute my power into whatever I wanted based on the situation. I could merely utter the power and "BAM!!!" I would have it.

Take that Cory Biggs!!! As Morrison would say, "Don't boss me!"

I'd pick Time Travel as well - I always wanted to hang out with Laura Ingalls Wilder and see the middle ages and be a flapper in the 20s and visit San Francisco in the 60s and lots of other places and times I can't remember right now. Plus, it would help with 36 hour trips to Jamkhed, India. Snap your fingers and it's done!

I love that Anna wants to be Little House on the Prairie
